Centene, the nation’s largest health insurance exchange issuer, Tuesday (Aug. 13) announced plans to expand its footprint in half of its 20 states for the 2020 plan year. The firm recently told investors that as of June 30 the carrier served 1.9 million exchange consumers and expected to reach margins between 5% and 10% in that sector.
