CBO Scores Medicaid Extenders Act As Budget-Neutral

A bill to extend two Medicaid programs aimed at promoting home- and community-based care would be budget-neutral, as the $130 million cost of certain provisions is offset within the bill, the Congressional Budget Office said Friday (Jan. 11). The Medicaid Extenders Act (H.R. 259), sponsored by Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) was approved by the House this week .
