Statement of Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle on the AMA's Endorsement of Drug Price Negotiation Under Medicare
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) -- The American Medical Association has endorsed a proposal to allow Medicare to negotiate with the pharmaceutical companies for lower drug prices. Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle, who sponsored the bill authorizing the government to bargain with drug companies, released the following statement.
