House Rules To Mark Up Medical Malpractice Bill Week Of March 27

The House Rules Committee is tentatively scheduled to mark up legislation to cap medical malpractice noneconomic damages at $250,000 next week. The bill, the Protecting Access To Care Act, is part of Republicans' raft of health reform measures that cannot be included in the budget reconciliation bill that repeals large portions of the Affordable Care Act.
