CDC: Exposed CO Providers Didn’t Meet PPE Recs, But Didn’t Get Monkeypox

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said only 23% of providers in Colorado exposed to a monkeypox infection while caring for a patient from May through July wore the recommended personal protective equipment -- and while none of those providers contracted the disease, the study says providers need to be made aware of CDC’s guidelines, particularly primary and urgent care settings.
