CDC Expanding COVID Wastewater Surveillance Sites To Track Monkeypox

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will begin tracking monkeypox virus in wastewater at some of the agency’s U.S. wastewater surveillance sites that were initially used to track COVID-19, the White House wrote Thursday (Aug. 11) in a fact sheet outlining the Biden administration’s monkeypox research activities.
