Territories Await BBB Passage To Fix Long-Term Medicaid Funding Issues

The short-term continuing resolution passed by Congress Thursday (Dec. 2) would once again save territories’ Medicaid programs by extending the bump in federal matching funds through mid-February -- by which point lawmakers plan to have passed the Build Back Better plan and its provision that would permanently increase what experts currently consider woefully inadequate federal funding for the territories.
