The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday (Nov. 19) recommended Pfizer’s and Moderna’s COVID-19 booster shots for everyone ages 18 and up, falling in line with FDA’s recent authorization of the booster shots for all adults, but CDC did not go as far as its advisory group that said people ages 50 and older “should” get the boosters, whether or not they have underlying conditions that put them at higher risk for COVID-19.
