Expert Says U.S. Should Invest In, Promote Innovative Next-Gen Masks

The U.S. government needs to establish standards for masks that are used by the public and promote innovation in mask technology by, among other things, providing financial support to companies to scale up domestic production and making sure the Strategic National Stockpile can purchase enough masks to meet future needs, a Johns Hopkins official told senators Tuesday (July 27).
