Bill Would Create Medicaid Look-Alike For People In Coverage Gap

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), along with Sens. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), introduced a bill Monday (July 12) that would direct CMS to create a federal program like Medicaid that’s administered by CMS and available to people in non-Medicaid expansion states who earn up to 138% of the federal poverty level.
