The American Hospital Association plans to appeal a federal judge’s decision Tuesday (June 23) to let the Trump administration proceed with its controversial hospital price transparency rule. Judge Carl Nichols of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia rejected AHA’s argument that the rule exceeds HHS’ statutory authority, violates the First Amendment and is arbitrary and capricious under the Administrative Procedure Act.
