Senate committee leaders are looking to include surprise billing legislation and several drug-pricing bills in an upcoming health care cost-reduction package. The package may include other bipartisan health bills, senators and staffers noted, but likely will not include a redux of the Alexander-Murray legislation to stabilize the Affordable Care Act, due to concerns over the Hyde amendment, which stalled the bill last year.
