Braun Strikes Out On Drug Pricing; Says Other Lawmakers Too Slow

First-term Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) is pushing drug-pricing bills because other lawmakers are dragging their feet, he told Inside Health Policy Wednesday (March 6). Braun introduced three drug-pricing bills Tuesday, including one that would extend HHS’ proposed ban on rebates in Medicare and Medicaid managed care to the commercial market. The second would speed FDA reviews of drugs already for sale in other developed countries, and the third would crack down on citizen petitions filed to delay generic competition...
