Florida Issuers Sue Over CSRs, Judge Seeks Comments On Stay

The parent company of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and its subsidiaries recently filed suit in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims seeking reimbursement for cost-sharing reduction payments due in benefit years 2015 through 2017, when the administration shut off the payments. Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby is asking both parties to comment on whether the case should be paused until a similar case over risk corridors, which may be picked up by the Supreme Court, is resolved.
