TN Firms Seek To Intervene In TX Case To Argue Against Employer Mandate

Two Tennessee-based companies are asking a Texas court to let them intervene as plaintiffs in the case brought by 20 GOP-led states that want to throw out the entire Affordable Care Act now that Congress has repealed the individual mandate. The firms, WG Hall and Quickway Distribution Services, both of which have been assessed penalties under the ACA's employer mandate, say continued enforcement of the law is damaging their business.
