NJ Legislature Sends State-Level Individual Mandate, Reinsurance Plan To Governor’s Desk

On Friday (April 13) the New Jersey legislature sent legislation setting up a state-level individual mandate to replace the about-to-be-scrapped federal mandate to Gov. Phil Murphy’s (D) desk, and the legislature also approved another bill that would set up a reinsurance plan to cover the most-expensive health care claims.
