Policy Experts: Medicaid Work Requirement Reporting Could Hurt States, Decrease Coverage

The Trump administration pledged to approve Medicaid work requirements as a means of saving states money, but policy experts say that the paperwork and reporting necessary to put such requirements in place, as well as tracking them, will place undue burdens on the states and could lead to eligible people losing coverage.
