AHCAH Report Fields Positive Results, But Cost Questions Remain As Congress Floats Program Extension

CMS’s statutorily required report of the Acute Hospital Care at Home (AHCAH) program published Monday (Sept. 30) found that patients had positive experiences with the initiative and saw mostly improved quality of care, but could not “definitively conclude” whether the program cut Medicare costs.
