White House Budget Office Reviewing State Drug Import Proposed Rule

White House budget officials are reviewing a proposed rule to let states import drugs. The Trump administration this summer unveiled a two-track plan for allowing drug imports. The Office of Management and Budget on Oct. 4 began reviewing one of those tracks , which is a draft guidance for drug makers that want to avoid rebates by importing drugs they sell abroad that are identical to drugs sold in the United States.
