The White House on Friday (July 9) hiked pressure on the pharmaceutical industry to come to the bargaining table on drug pricing by giving HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra 45 days to craft a plan to lower drug prices that could include a pay-for-delay ban, drug imports, policies to spur generics and biosimilars, and potentially march-in and most-favored nation measures.
