Study Projects 1.1M Deaths From Seniors Not Taking Pills Due To Costs

If drug prices continue to rise at current rates without Medicare coverage changes, more than 1.1 million seniors are projected to die over the coming decade because they skip medications due to costs, according to a study by West Health Policy Center and Xcenda, the research arm of the drug distributor AmerisourceBergen.
