Restraining Order Bodes Poorly For Trump’s Favored-Nation Demo

By granting a 14-day restraining order to delay the start of the most-favored-nation demonstration on Wednesday (Dec. 23), a federal judge signaled the drug industry will likely succeed in killing the demo. The judge wrote that she is sympathetic to the drug industry’s allegations that the Trump administration circumvented the rulemaking process and that the demo could harm patients.
