PBMs Drop Suit Against Rule That Would’ve Forced Rebate Disclosure

The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association on Wednesday (Nov. 1) dropped its lawsuit over a Trump-era rule, which HHS last summer indefinitely deferred, that would have required pharmacy benefit managers to publicly disclose the rebated prices they negotiate with drug makers. The Chamber of Commerce dropped a similar lawsuit against the rule after HHS deferred enforcement in August, but PCMA kept its lawsuit alive while it negotiated a resolution with HHS.
