PBM Lobby: FDA's Nonprescription Drug Push Could Disrupt Supply Chain, Hike Consumer Costs

The pharmacy benefit manager lobby tells FDA to tread carefully in its push to increase the availability of nonprescription drugs through use of mobile apps and other technology, warning the move could inadvertently disrupt the pharmaceutical supply chain and actually increase out-of-pocket costs for some consumers.
