The two parties argued for four hours Tuesday (May 4) over whether Medicare drug price negotiation and international reference pricing would help or hurt patients, and Republicans brought up new arguments against the policies, including that they would play into the hands of China and that coronavirus vaccines might not have been invented if Democrats’ drug pricing bill, H.R. 3, were law.
