Oregon is withdrawing its request for a closed drug formulary in the face of opposition from the drug industry and patient groups, but state Medicaid officials are still asking for permission to exclude accelerated approval drugs from its formularies until drug makers complete post-market studies, according to the state’s broader request that CMS waive certain Medicaid requirements .
