MedPAC To Recommend Covering All Preventive Vaccines In Part B For Free

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission unanimously voted in favor of draft recommendations to cover all preventive vaccines under Part B for free to beneficiaries. The recommendations also call for paying providers 103% of vaccine wholesale acquisition costs and making vaccine manufacturers report average sales price data to CMS in preparation for eventually moving to a pay formula based on ASP.
