FDA Prioritizes Generic COVID-19 Drugs For Developing Countries

FDA will prioritize applications for tentative approval of generic versions of Paxlovid and other coronavirus treatments to speed the availability of cheap antivirals in developing countries, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative announced it has negotiated agreements with companies to make generic Paxlovid for low- and middle-income countries.
