Colorado Moves Toward Outcome-Based Contracts For Medicaid Rx Drugs

Colorado will soon ask CMS for permission to use outcomes-based prescription drug contracts in its Medicaid program, a state health official told Inside Health Policy Tuesday (Oct. 16). Oklahoma is the only state that has already obtained permission from CMS to enter into such contracts, and Michigan filed a request last month.
