CMS once again rebuffed calls from patient advocacy groups to require that exchange plans count copay assistance toward beneficiaries’ deductibles and out-of-pocket costs as part of a draft 2024 exchange rule out Monday (Dec. 12) that continues a controversial copay accumulator policy.
