A bipartisan House bill was introduced Friday (March 25) that would pay pharmacists for prescribing coronavirus drugs; testing for coronavirus, strep throat and respiratory syncytial virus; and administering vaccines for those conditions. Pharmacists already are paid for flu and strep tests and vaccinations, and the bill would increase their pay by covering those services at the federal level commensurate with their coverage in some states.
