Biden’s Silence On PBMs In SOTU, Budget Spurs Lobbying

Despite a White House listening session last week asking for insight from stakeholders on how to address the role of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) in high prescription drug prices, the president’s State of the Union Address a few days later and his 2025 budget request this week are silent on PBM reform -- and PBM reform advocates are calling for action.
