Tiberi Plans Deregulatory Roundtables In Sept., Followed By Bill In Fall

House Ways & Means health subcommittee Chair Pat Tiberi (R-OH) said he plans to schedule roundtables in September to discuss ideas for cutting regulations on health care providers, then introduce legislation to cut red tape this fall. The subcommittee last month asked providers to submit ideas for cutting back Medicare regulations and laws, and Tiberi told Inside Health Policy the roundtables are meant to discuss those ideas.
