Advocates for Medicaid beneficiaries on Tuesday (Aug. 14) followed up a lawsuit over Kentucky's work requirements with a legal challenge to the Trump administration's approval of Medicaid work requirements in Arkansas. In federal DC district court, they allege that CMS overstepped its authority and violated the Medicaid statute when it authorized Arkansas to condition Medicaid eligibility for some beneficiaries on working at least 80 hours a month.
