CMS To Let Providers Leave New Bundles After Six Months

Some providers would still like the option of joining CMS' new voluntary bundled pay demonstration early next year rather than by Oct. 1 of this year, but one hospital official says the agency appears to think its decision to let providers walk away from the demo in March 2019 is a better way to assuage their concerns about needing more time to analyze data before joining.
