Montana Co-Op Nabs Win In CSR Case, Feds Must Pay $5.7M For 2017

The federal government is obligated to reimburse Montana Health Cooperative around $5.7 million owed in cost-sharing reduction (CSR) payments after it ended disbursements last October, a federal court said Tuesday. The decision is likely to reverberate throughout the health care industry, the law firm Crowell & Moring, which represents the co-op and several other plans seeking reimbursement for the fourth quarter 2017 payments, wrote in an alert shortly after the ruling.
