CMS Revising Guidance On State Innovation Waivers

CMS is currently working to revise guidance on the Affordable Care Act's state innovation waivers from December 2015, and states considering broad changes under section 1332 of the statute should contact CMS early in the process to discuss flexibilities, CMS' Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) Director Randy Pate told regulators at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners' spring meeting.
