CMS Extends Transitional Insurance Policies Through Dec. 31, 2019

CMS on Monday announced the agency has extended the so-called "transitional" insurance plan policy and will allow certain issuers to sell individual or small group policies that are not complaint with certain Affordable Care Act consumer protections through Dec. 31, 2019.
