AHP Coalition Forms, Queries PA On Large Employer Options

A number of organizations interested in setting up association health plans (AHPs) under the new federal rules have formed a coalition to support the coverage option. The coalition's first action was to send a letter to Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Jessica Altman to ask whether his office will allow AHPs to operate under regulations for large employers rather than the small business market.
