IACP To Appropriators: Block Funding For FDA's Compounding Policy

The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists is urging congressional appropriators to step up their pressure on FDA to reverse course on compounding. The group proposes not only report language expressing disapproval with FDA's existing policy, but language in the appropriations bill blocking funding for implementation of FDA's office-use compounding guidance and the agency's attempt to redefine distribution, according to draft language obtained by Inside Health Policy .
