Drug, Public Health Groups Push Lawmakers To Upend Compounding Stance

The top three drug industry lobbies recently joined forces with public health groups to urge congressional appropriators to largely reverse course on their to-date combative stance toward FDA's drug compounding regulations. The stakeholders wrote to House and Senate appropriators Monday (June 12) pushing report language friendly to FDA's compounding policies, namely the prescription requirement and incentives for compounders to register as outsourcing facilities.
