Wyden Bill Would Slap Criminal Penalties On Rogue Insurance Brokers

Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR) and five Democratic colleagues Wednesday introduced legislation that would apply criminal penalties to brokers who change Affordable Care Act consumers’ plans without their knowledge and implement other safeguards that would mitigate the problem.
