Women Skip Preventative Care Due To High Costs, Survey Finds

A recent survey found that 45% of American women skip preventative care services like check-ups, cancer screenings and vaccinations, often because the services are unaffordable. The survey comes as the Affordable Care Act requirement that insurers cover certain preventive services cost-free is at risk due to a pending district court decision that could invalidate the provision .
