WH Health Agenda: Improve Medicaid, Maintain ACA Subsidies, Protect Medicare, Cut Drug Costs

The White House touted its health care achievements ahead of Thursday’s State of the Union Address and unveiled a health policy agenda that would expand on actions to lower prescription drug costs, maintain the enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits, improve access to Medicaid including by keeping kids covered until age 6, and further addressing mental health, balanced billing, nursing home staffing and more.
