Ways & Means Transparency Bill Advances Despite Partisan Spats

The House Ways & Means Committee’s markup of a closely watched health bill Wednesday (July 26) was laden with partisan frustration after Democrats accused Republicans of failing to extend price transparency requirements to Medicare Advantage and prescription drug plans, or to build up additional oversight of private equity in health care.
