Utah Ponders Adding Medicaid Work Requirements

A Utah lawmaker is pushing to attach work requirements to the state’s newly approved Medicaid expansion, and if the full legislature agrees, the proposal could delay the implementation of that expansion. Utah was one of three red states in November in which voters approved ballot measures to expand Medicaid eligibility under the Affordable Care Act.
