Uninsurance Rate Sticks At Record Low; Admin Says 50M Have Used Exchanges

About 8% of the population was uninsured in 2023, which is unchanged from 2022’s record low rate, according to Census data released Tuesday (Sept. 10) -- hours after the Biden administration rolled out a report that found 50 million people have used Affordable Care Act coverage at some point during their lives since 2014.
