TX Court Lets Democratic AGs Defend ACA Against GOP-Led Lawsuit

A federal court in Texas has agreed to let 17 Democratic attorneys general intervene in a lawsuit to defend the Affordable Care Act against 20 GOP-states that say the law is unconstitutional and should be tossed now that Congress has repealed the individual mandate. The GOP-led states had asked the court to deny or delay the intervention until the Department of Justice responded to their complaint. DOJ hasn't revealed what position it will take in the lawsuit.
