Trump Slams HHS OIG Report On Hospitals’ COVID-19 Needs

The Trump administration slammed an HHS Office of Inspector General report released Monday (April 6) that found hospitals are facing significant challenges with medical supplies, protective gear and COVID-19 testing. The OIG says it was told by hospital officials that they face a shortage of testing supplies and extended waits for test results, as well as a widespread shortage of personal protective equipment.
