Updated Story President Donald Trump nominated Gustav Chiarello -- a former FTC attorney who probed health industry mergers -- and Gary Andres -- who worked for key House committees, the biotech lobby and George H. Bush’s White House -- to serve as assistant secretaries at HHS on Wednesday (Feb. 12), as well as West Virginia state Sen. Michael Stuart as general counsel for the department.
